Rector of Baku State University (BSU) Elchin Babayev has met with Veronica Omeni, representative of the British consulting company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).

The rector informed the guest about the reforms and projects being implemented in accordance with the new BSU development strategy. Elchin Babayev stressed that Azerbaijani universities have sufficient potential to be included in international rankings, and BSU has made great strides in this direction.

Veronica Omeni explained in detail the criteria for inclusion of universities in the QS ranking table, and also provided extensive information about the application forms and conditions important for getting into the list.

An exchange of views took place regarding the representation of BSU in the international QS ranking.
