Representatives of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University (Kazakhstan), Issa Zhuldyz and Alaydar Nurly, visited the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics at Baku State University (BSU).

The visit aimed to discuss potential cooperation on the establishment of a dual-degree master’s program in Mathematical Physics, planned to commence in the 2026–2027 academic year.

During the meeting, the guests exchanged views with the faculty leadership on key aspects of cooperation, including partnership mechanisms, student and faculty mobility, development of the curriculum, credit recognition, and the selection of core and elective courses.

As part of the visit, the representatives attended classes in Computer Science, Informatics Teaching, and Mathematics, and engaged in discussions with undergraduate and graduate students, sharing academic and professional experiences.

At the conclusion of the visit, participants of the exchange program were presented with certificates.
