Representatives of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași Visit BSU
Representatives of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași (Romania) visited the Geography and Physics Faculties of Baku State University (BSU).
During a meeting at the Geography Faculty with Professor Mihai Bulaini, discussions focused on establishing scientific and educational ties between the Geography Faculty of BSU and the Faculty of Geography and Geology at Iași University. Later, Professor Bulaini met with students majoring in Tourism Organization and informed them about opportunities for studying at Iași University.
At the Physics Faculty, another Romanian guest, Professor Claudiu Costin, engaged in discussions with faculty members about the scientific and research capacities of both universities. They explored potential areas of cooperation, reached agreements on implementing joint projects, and held negotiations to expand academic and scientific exchanges and conduct collaborative research.
Professor Costin also conducted a seminar for students of the Physics Department. During the seminar, he shared information about study opportunities at Iași University, answered students' questions, and highlighted the importance of gaining international experience in the educational process.
