Baku State University (BSU) has hosted the Republican virtual scientific conference “Interaction among branches of law: theory and practice”, dedicated to the 97th anniversary of birth of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.

This Conference was organized by The Law Faculty of BSU, the State Customs Committee Academy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Academy of the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan named after Heydar Aliyev, the Academy of Justice of the Ministry of Justice of Republic of Azerbaijan and the Law Department of the National Aviation Academy.

Rector of Baku State University Elchin Babayev opened the conference and informed participants about the preventive measures taken at the university to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19). He emphasized that success achieved by Azerbaijan is the result of successful domestic and foreign policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev.

The conference was attended by Gulu Novruzov, head of the State Customs Committee Academy, Elchin Khalafov, Acting Rector of the Academy of Justice of the Ministry of Justice, Elshad Nasirov, first deputy head of the Academy of the State Security Service named after Heydar Aliyev and Ibrahim Guliyev, Head of Law Department at National Aviation Academy.

The Conference was moderated by the  Dean of the Law Faculty of BSU, Professor Amir Aliyev.
