Researcher at the University of Wyoming USA, Ph.D. Aykhan Yusifov has conducted a scientific seminar "Age and Gender differences in Heart Failure" at the Faculty of Biology of Baku State University (BSU). He noted that risk for heart disease increases with advanced age and differs between sexes. Heart failure leads to enhanced catecholamine level in blood. Sports from an early age strengthen the heart, so that years later, it helps the body to deal with stress.
