A regional scientific conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the world known scientist Lutfi Zadeh was held at Baku State University (BSU) on February 4, 2021.
Participants of the Conference visited the grave of Lutfi Zadeh to lay a wreath at his tomb.
The event was moderated by Mais Suleymanov, the Head of the Center for Scientific Activity and Innovation at BSU. He introduced the activities listed in the calendar of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Lutfi Zadeh.
During the conference numerous leading scientists from Azerbaijan and Turkey held related speeches.
BSU Rector Elchin Babayev noted that the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev had signed an order to mark the 100th anniversary of world known scientist Lutfi Zadeh. “Lutfi Zadeh was one of the outstanding personalities who made an essential contribution to world science. Lutfi Zadeh’s theory made a huge impact on the development of several branches of science”, said Elchin Babayev.
People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Professor Jannat Selimova spoke on behalf of Lutfi Zadeh’s family to express the appreciation to BSU for hosting the event.
