Scientific Research Center for Nano Research hosts scientific seminar on triboelectric nanogenerators
17/11/2021
The Scientific Research Center for Nano Research of Baku State University (BSU) has hosted the regular scientific seminar. PhD student Orkhan Gulakhmedov made a presentation on "Monitoring of high-voltage lines using triboelectric nanogenerators."
It was proposed to use triboelectric nanogenerators as sensors for monitoring high-voltage power lines. Studies have shown that the use of silver nanowires as electrodes in generators dramatically increases the sensitivity of sensors.
The seminar was attended by the staff of the center, students and young researchers.
