Seminar at BSU Discusses Trends and Challenges in Library and Bibliographic Resources
A scientific seminar titled “Library and Bibliographic Resources: Current Trends and Problems” was held at the Faculty of Information and Document Management of Baku State University (BSU).
Associate Professor Nadir Ismailov, Head of the Department of Document Management, delivered a report highlighting the strategic importance of library and bibliographic resources in research, education, and innovation. He addressed key issues such as the impact of globalization and digitalization, the integration of traditional and electronic resources, information security, and the development of user-focused services.
The presentation included statistical data and comparative analyses based on the experience of Azerbaijani libraries, as well as an overview of state policy and reforms in the field.
The seminar concluded with a Q&A session, where participants engaged in further discussion on the topic.
