A seminar on “Differences between the legal systems of the Soviet Union and Independent Azerbaijan”, jointly organized by the Student Youth Organization (SYO) and the Socialist Law Club was held at the Faculty of Law of Baku State University.

Doctor of Law, Professor Khayyam Ismayilov made presentation on the History of the legal system in Azerbaijan. He touched upon the legal system during the Republican period and in the Soviet Union as well as reforms in the years of independence.

The seminar was followed by a discussion session.
