A special auditorium for the Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AZERTAC) has been opened at Baku State University (BSU).

At the opening ceremony, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized the importance of cooperation with media organizations in training professional journalists and noted that specialized auditoriums at the Faculty of Journalism enhance the quality of education. He expressed confidence that the AZERTAC auditorium will serve as an effective platform for developing students’ knowledge and professionalism.

Vugar Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan State News Agency, highlighted the strong partnership between AZERTAC and BSU, noting that joint initiatives, including internship programs and practical training, provide valuable opportunities for students. He stated that the new auditorium will host meetings, classes, and training sessions, making the Agency more accessible to future journalists.

The event was attended by representatives of leading media and academic institutions, who underscored the significance of the initiative for journalism education in Azerbaijan.
