Students and professors from BSU are undergoing training in Strasbourg
Dean of the Faculty of Law Zaur Aliyev, Lecturer at the UNESCO Department of Human Rights and Information Law, project expert Gulnaz Rzayeva, students Nizami Mehraliyev, Hamida Sadigova, Nazrin Sadigova, Eltaj Allahyarli, Sayad Alekperov, Nigar and Nihad Rahimli are undergoing training at the Headquarters of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg within the framework of the project “Violence against women, preventing and combating domestic violence”.
Students and professors from BSU will attend lectures by Council of Europe experts, meet with heads of departments and sections at the Council of Europe, representatives of the Commissioner for Human Rights, Judge of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) from Azerbaijan Latif Huseynov, and Judge Saadet Yuksel from Turkey. They will also participate in a session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. The BSU delegation will also visit the Law School of the University of Strasbourg to familiarize themselves with the educational process.
