SU Launches Training on Quality Assurance in Higher Education

Baku State University (BSU), in collaboration with Kirsehir Ahi Evran University (Türkiye) and with the support of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), has launched a training program on “Quality Assurance System in Higher Education.” The program is organized by the BSU Quality Assurance Center.

The training sessions are being led by experts from Kirsehir Ahi Evran University and include participants from several Azerbaijani institutions, including the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Azerbaijan Technical University, Khazar University, and Ganja State University.

At the opening ceremony, Asiman Ilyasov, Advisor to the BSU Rector on Quality Assurance, emphasized the importance of building effective and sustainable quality assurance systems in universities and highlighted the value of international cooperation.

Vice-Rector of Kirsehir Ahi Evran University, Huseyn Simshek, outlined the goals of the training, stressing the significance of mutual learning and collaboration between Azerbaijani and Turkish higher education institutions. He noted that this initiative supports long-term strategic cooperation and sustainable development in the field of quality assurance.
