The 14th Japanese Language Speech Contest was held at Baku State University (BSU). The Contest was attended by 16 students from Baku State University and Azerbaijan University of Languages who are learning Japanese Language and Literature. The event was jointly organized by Baku State University, the Embassy of Japan to Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan University of Languages and Baku Japanese Society.

Rector Maharramov spoke of BSU`s activities, as well as its international relations and projects. He underlined the significance of deepening the bilateral cooperation in the field of education.

The winner of the competition Khayal Abdullayev will represent Azerbaijan at Moscow International Japanese Speech Contest.
