Rector, deputy, academician Abel Maharramov met the chiefs of the parliaments of the member states  TurkPA in the Baku State University  on September, 21.

Academician Abel Maharramov gave comprehensive information about the history of BSU,  his role in the development of the education system of Azerbaijan. He informed  that personalities  like a  well-known scientist Landau, prominent statesman and one of the great leaders  of Turkic World Heydar Aliyev were graduaters of this authoritative university.Sadettin Kalkan, the General Secretary of the Turkey parlament, Berik Arın, the  vise-chairman of  the Kazakhistan parliament spoke about the  activities of their universities in the process  and the creation of law and international collaboration.During the conversation the member countries of TurkPA exchanged their views about  the development of the cooperation among Turkish speaking countries,  mutual cooperation among  in the educational field  and on other issues. İt was emphasized that the collaboration and student exchange among the universities of 3 countries and also the turkish speaking countries will bring benefit to all sides. Safa Mirzayev, Head of the Parliament Office and   TurkPA Secretary General Ramil Hasanov also took part in the meeting.
