The conference "Modern Issues of Mathematics, Mechanics, and Information Technology" took place at Baku State University (BSU). Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation of BSU, Huseyn Mamedov, highlighted the latest decrees and orders of President Ilham Aliyev aimed at expanding the use of high technologies across various fields. He also mentioned the state policy focusing on information and communication technologies, which presents significant tasks for relevant institutions, scientific organizations, and universities.

Huseyn Mamedov emphasized the continuity of President Ilham Aliyev's policies in line with the visionary approach of the late leader Heydar Aliyev towards scientific development and the country's progress. He noted BSU's successful hosting of international and national-scale events and conferences in diverse scientific domains in recent years, with a priority on engaging students in scientific endeavors. Mamedov expressed confidence that the conference would facilitate discussions on current issues in mathematics and information technology, proving to be beneficial.

The event featured speeches by notable figures including Chairman of the Committee on Natural Resources, Energy, and Ecology of the Milli Majlis, Sadig Gurbanov; Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Ministry of Science and Education, Corresponding Member of ANAS, and Head of the Department of Higher Mathematics of BSU, Misir Mardanov. Additionally, the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of BSU, Professor Ziyatkhan Aliyev, delivered a plenary report on linear and nonlinear Dirac systems.
