Three BSU Students Win AzerGold Scholarship

Three students from Baku State University (BSU) have been named winners of the fourth AzerGold scholarship program, an initiative organized by AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education.

The recipients are Tural Murtuzov and Emin Zeynalli from the Faculty of Geology, along with Gunel Hajaliyeva from the Faculty of Ecology and Soil Science. All three students are enrolled under a state-funded education program.

Launched in 2021, the AzerGold scholarship program aims to foster the development of vocational education, support the training of highly skilled specialists, and facilitate their transition into the labor market. For the 2024/2025 academic year, 10 university students and two vocational education students were awarded scholarships. Since its inception, the program has benefited 38 university students and 37 vocational education students, many of whom have also completed industrial internships at AzerGold CJSC.
