Time Management Training Held at Baku State University

The Psychological Support Sector of Baku State University (BSU) organized a training session for students titled “The Mind Afraid to Start.”

The training aimed to provide a deeper understanding of procrastination, its underlying psychological mechanisms, and its impact on daily life. Experts explained key causes of procrastination, including fear, perfectionism, lack of motivation, and indecisiveness, while also presenting effective strategies to overcome it.

Participants received practical guidance on planning and time management. Held in an interactive format, the session encouraged students to share personal experiences and discuss everyday challenges. The Pomodoro Technique was also introduced, with hands-on exercises allowing participants to apply the method and observe its effectiveness.

The event concluded with a short video illustrating procrastination-related behaviors.
