Orkhan Jabbarov, Head of Department at Tamiz Sheher OJSC, conducted a training session at Baku State University (BSU) on the topic “Modern Approaches to Municipal Solid Waste Management.”

During the training, participants received detailed information on developing a “green mindset,” strengthening environmental responsibility, proper waste management practices, and the importance of recycling.

It was also announced that BSU has joined the “Card to Art” social and environmental project, implemented at the initiative of Tamiz Sheher OJSC with support from partner organizations. As part of the project, special collection boxes for plastic cards have been installed in BSU’s academic buildings.

The collected plastic cards will be handed over to creative artists, who will transform them into various artworks. These works will be presented at the “Card to Art” exhibition to be held at the “From Waste to Art” museum.
