Training on Psychological Aspects of Decision-Making Held at Baku State University
A training session on the topic “Cognitive-Emotional Mechanism of Decision-Making” was held for students at Baku State University (BSU). The session was delivered by David Poladov, a lecturer at BSU, finalist of the “Yüksəliş” (“Ascension”) competition, and a supervisor-psychotherapist in eclectic psychotherapy. The training was organized within the framework of the Student Mentorship Program.
The training covered the impact of automatic thoughts, cognitive distortions, and emotional responses on decision-making. Behavioral patterns in situations involving stress and uncertainty were analyzed through practical examples. Participants were also given the opportunity to examine decision-making processes using real-life scenarios.
At the end of the session, the trainer addressed questions from participants.
