Professor of the Firat University of Turkey, Turkologist Ahmet Buran has delivered lecture on the topic "Conceptual approaches and terminological problems of naming in Turkic studies" at the Faculty of Philology of Baku State University (BSU).

Ahmet Buran spoke about various scientific ideas found in Turkological studies, and in particular, touched upon the conceptual approaches of foreign Turkologists.

The speaker also touched upon contradictory moments from the terminological point of view in the naming of the Turkic tribes and languages.
