On November, 22 the rector, academician Abel Maharramov received Jeremiy Braun, the president of Edinboro University USA and Olga Zinovyev, the director for international programs. At first rector Abel Maharramov gave information about BSU, its history, development stages, international relations. He noted that BSU is the member of many assosiations and it has bilateral contacts with a lot of Universities all over  the world. Academician pointed that he would also like  to creat  mutual relations with Edinboro University.

İn his tern Jeremy Braun said that Edinboro University is in the row of leading universities of  the world. He mentioned that the technical equipment of this university is on the high-level and after his assignment as a director the number of students has increased. It was noted that they  are also interested in relationship installing  with BSU.

Understandig memorandum was signed between universities.

This document intends to exchange researchers, graduates and masters, running of scientific investigations on joint collaboration subjects, the arragement of joint seminars and conferences and participation in projects and proqrams.

After the signing ceremony the guests visited the laboratories and scientific centers of BSU and parted with good impressions.
