University of La Sapienza (Italy) and BSU TO COOPERATE

The rector of Baku State University (BSU), academician Abel Maharramov received a delegation from the University of La Sapienza (Rome), headed by Professor Angelo Chianese. Guest spoke about this institution of higher education. He noted that La Sapienza was one of the oldest universities in the country. It was founded in 1303. The Head of the delegation expressed an interest in collaborating with BSU. Academician Abel Maharramov, in turn, informed the guest of the history and development of the Baku State University, international programs and grants. Guests from Italy visited the laboratory of nanotechnology, immunology, chemistry, nuclear magnetic resonance, electronic monitoring Center. Member of the delegation, Professor Francesco Guni read a lecture on the history of Europe.
