Rector, academician Abel Maharramov met with Professor Takeo Funabiki,  Department of Cultural Anthropology, Graduate School of Arts and Science, the University of Tokyo. Maharramov highlighted the university`s activities, particularly its foreign relations.
They exchanged views on cooperation between BSU and Japanese universities.
Funabiki was accompanied by Japan`s ambassador to Azerbaijan Shusuke Watanabe.
They visited the university`s nanotechnological laboratory and scientific centers.
Funabiki also gave a speech to BSU students.
