Garib Murshudov, a bioinformatics specialist and professor at the University of York in the UK, recently delivered an online lecture entitled "The Role of Mathematics in the Analysis of Biological Processes" at the Faculty of Biology of Baku State University (BSU).

During his lecture, Murshudov discussed the application of mathematics in biology, including statistical analysis and the creation of algorithms for crystallography and electronic cryomicroscopic structural analysis. Following the lecture, students had the opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session with Murshudov.
