Vice-Rector of State Islamic University Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta visits BSU
Ahmad Tholabi, Vice-Rector of the State Islamic University Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (Indonesia), Maila Rahiem, Director of the university's International Relations Center, Wanda Vidya, the Third Secretary of the Embassy of this country, and the Assistant to the Ambassador, Parvana Kerimova visited Baku State University.
BSU Vice-Rector for International Relations, Shahin Panahov, informed the guests about the history and activities of the university. He noted that BSU has 16 faculties, where more than 25 thousand students are trained, preparing specialists in all fields of science. He emphasized that there are opportunities for cooperation with the State Islamic University of Indonesia in the fields of physics, biology, chemistry, mathematics, and economics. Possible areas of collaboration include joint scientific research, the signing of dual degree programs, and the implementation of joint projects.
Ahmad Tholabi, provided detailed information about his university and noted their interest in joint research with BSU, the exchange of teachers and students, and the development of dual degree programs.
Other prospects for cooperation between the two universities were also discussed at the meeting.
