The team that successfully represented Baku State University (BSU) at TEKNOFEST-2025—the Istanbul Aerospace Technologies and Cosmonautics Festival held in Türkiye from 17 to 21 September—has returned home.

At Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the victorious BSU team was greeted with great enthusiasm by students and university staff.

This year’s festival drew 565,776 applications from 96 countries. In the “Accessible Technologies for Life” category, BSU’s SSTCC team won first place with its NeuroScreen project. Designed to support paralyzed patients, the project enables control of IoT-based smart home systems, digital devices, and robotic prosthetics, while providing real-time health monitoring and AI-powered diagnostics through brain-signal tracking and filtering.
