Web of Knowledge training at BSU

The training in the use of Web of Knowledge, with all of the new features, will be given by Matin Tunj, Area Manager for Central and Eastern European of Thomson Reuters. This summer Web of Knowledge (WoK) had a major upgrade, both the interface and the functionality. The Web of Sciencewas originally produced by theInstitute of ScientificInformation (ISI) which is now owned Thomson Reuters. The Web of Science is well known for itscitation scores and the impact factors for scientific journals which ISI calculates based on those citations. Journal Citation Reports is a resource that allows you to evaluate and compare journals using citation data drawn from over 11,000 scholarly and technical journals. The number of BSU scientists’ articles in the journals with indicated agency’s index is rising every year and they show high results.
