Winter Exams in Progress at Baku State University

05/01/2026

The winter examination session for the fall semester of the 2025/2026 academic year is currently underway at Baku State University (BSU).

Examinations are being conducted in two shifts: written exams for undergraduate students are held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, while oral exams and examinations for master’s degree students take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

More than 21,000 undergraduate students and 2,334 master’s students are participating in the examination session.

Students who were unable to sit for exams during the session—regardless of whether the reason was valid or invalid—will be given the opportunity to retake exams in the relevant subjects from February 2 to 6.

To ensure effective monitoring of the examination process and transparency in student assessment, an Examination Headquarters and an Appeals Committee have been established. These bodies will review applications, proposals, and complaints submitted during the session, including those received through the Ministry of Science and Education’s Hotline.

The winter examination session will continue until February 2.
