The Working Group of Baku State University has discussed the draft of “Report on human rights violations against the Internally Displaced Persons committed in the occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan".
Head of the project, BSU rector Elchin Babayev touched upon the issues of restoring liberated territories. Underlining the importance of the above mentioned project, Elchin Babayev positively evaluated the work accomplished.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Law Amir Aliyev, Heads of the Working Group Muhammad Guluzade and Turgay Huseynov, Deputies of Milli Majlis Hijran Huseynova and Bahruz Maharramov.
It should be noted that two academic projects are being implemented at BSU: “Report on human rights violations against the Internally Displaced Persons committed in the occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan" and "Analytical review of the domestic and foreign media activities during the Patriotic War". The first project aims to prepare the "Report on human rights violations against the Internally Displaced Persons committed in the occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan" for their safe and dignified return to liberated territories.
