Workshop on «The view of Thomson Reuters to science in Azerbaijan» was held at Baku State University. Country Managers at Thomson Reuters David Horky, Shahruza Sharifrazi, Metin Tunjai attended the workshop. Rector of BSU, academician Abel Maharramov noted that the research papers of the Azerbaijani scientists, including BSU, are published in internationally renowned journals of the world, getting the list of Thomson Reuters.

Country Manager CEE at Thomson Reuters David Horky showed slides on the development of science in Azerbaijan. The number of academic articles of the scientists of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Baku State University, State Oil Academy, Technical and Medical Universities has been recently increasing in the indexed journals.

At the end of the workshop managers at Thompson Reuters answered questions of Azerbaijani scientists.
