WWF Azerbaijan Holds Educational Session at Baku State University

The Azerbaijan Representative Office of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) held an educational session at the Faculty of Biology of Baku State University (BSU).
The meeting aimed to foster ecological awareness among students and enhance their understanding of the conservation efforts for rare and endangered animal species.
During the event, WWF Project Manager Konul Akhmedova delivered a presentation highlighting ongoing initiatives in Azerbaijan focused on wildlife protection. She provided in-depth information on conservation projects, including efforts to reintroduce gazelles and safeguard the leopard population, emphasizing the importance of preserving the country’s biodiversity.
