As part of the "Festival of Science" held at Baku State University (BSU), the XXIII Republican Scientific Conference of Undergraduates and Young Researchers on the theme of "Problems of Physics and Astronomy" took place on May 26, 2023.

At the event, speeches were delivered by BSU Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Huseyn Mammadov, Dean of the Faculty of Physics Bakhtiyar Pashayev, Director of the Institute of Problems of Physics of BSU Sadiyar Rahimov. The speakers provided the participants with insights into the current trends in the development of physics and astronomy, as well as the ongoing projects and challenges being addressed in these fields at BSU.

The Conference was attended by young researchers from the Faculty of Chemistry of BSU, the Institutes of Physics, Radiation Problems, Biophysics of the Ministry of Science and Education, the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory named after N.Tusi, Ministry of Defense Industry, National Aerospace Agency, National Aviation Academy, Sumgayit State University, Azerbaijan Technological University, Lankaran State University, Mingachevir State University.  and a total of 112 materials were presented. A total of 112 submissions were submitted.
