The Regional Network for Education and Training in Nuclear Technology (STAR-NET) has been founded in September 2015. Currently the STAR-NET unites 13 universities from 7 countries. The STAR-NET is aiming the close cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The STAR-NET will compliment existing international initiatives including the initiatives of the IAEA by focusing on the area of education and training and will address problems related to nuclear technology, education, training and outreach.
